How XClip turns creator fees into dollars for the people shilling a coin.

Overview

XClip is a pump.fun launchpad where a coin's creator fees pay its promoters. The dev picks a share of creator fees to send to the coin's reward treasury. XClip watches X for posts about the coin, scores them on engagement, and every round splits the pool between the accounts that posted. Earnings are in US dollars and are sent to the poster's X handle through Money. Promoters don't need a wallet or an account.

Launching a coin

  1. Connect a Solana wallet and sign in (a free message, no transaction).
  2. Fill in the coin (image, name, ticker, description, links) and choose the reward share: 10–100% of creator fees.
  3. Your wallet signs the pump.fun create_v2 transaction (with an optional dev buy), then a second one that funds the coin's treasury with 0.003 SOL and writes the fee split into pump.fun's fee-sharing config: the reward share to the treasury, the rest to you.
  4. pump.fun locks a sharing config after its first update, so the split can't be changed later. XClip re-checks it on-chain every cycle anyway and freezes rewards if it ever stops matching.

The coin's description ends with a link to its XClip page so anyone on pump.fun can find the rewards.

What counts as a shill

A post on X counts for a coin when it contains at least one of:

  • the coin's contract address (always on),
  • a mention of the coin's @account,
  • its $TICKER cashtag (the dev can turn this off for common tickers),
  • any of its #hashtags or keywords, set by the dev.

Reposts never count, and posts older than the coin don't either. A keeper searches X every few minutes, so new posts usually show up within 5–10 minutes. Each post earns in the round that's open when it's found.

Rounds mode

Every counted post scores points:

Base per post+10
Likes · replies · reposts · quotes+1 · +2 · +3 · +4 each
Views+1 per 1,000
Mentions the contract address / the $TICKER+20 / +10
Verified account / 10K+ followers+15 / +15
Fewer than 4 real words around the CAbase 10 only

Engagement weights are the "Balanced" defaults; devs can pick another preset (Reach, Engagement) or set their own. Only each account's best 20 posts in any hour count, repeating the same wording costs 25% of your points, and fairness warnings reduce them further. Engagement is refreshed while the round is open and one last time when it ends.

Rounds run every 15 minutes, 30 minutes, 1, 6, 12 or 24 hours, 3 days or weekly, as the dev picks. When one ends, its pool is set to the dev's chosen share of the treasury's spendable SOL (optionally capped in USD) and valued in dollars at that moment. It's split by points:

your payout = pool × your points ÷ everyone's points

No account can take more than the coin's max share of a round (e.g. 25%); anything over the cap stays in the treasury for the next round. The SOL behind the round then moves from the treasury to XClip's payout float, and your dollar earnings are credited.

Flat-rate mode

Instead of rounds, a dev can pay fixed dollar rates for engagement. Every post earns as its numbers grow; nobody competes for a shared pool. The defaults are:

$0.01/like · $0.03/repost · $0.02/reply · $0.05/quote · $0.1/1K views

  • A post earns for the coin's earning window (default 7 days after it's posted); engagement is checked one last time just after the window closes.
  • The dev can cap how much a single post can earn.
  • The same fairness warnings apply: 1/3 and 2/3 cut earnings by 25% and 50%, DQ earns nothing, and only the best 20 posts per hour earn.
  • Every few minutes the new earnings are credited, oldest posts first, as far as the coin's treasury covers them. If fees haven't caught up, the rest is credited as soon as they do. Nothing earned is lost.
  • Each batch moves its SOL to the payout float on-chain (listed on the coin's Payments tab), exactly like a round.

Devs can switch modes at any time: posts keep earning under the mode they were found in.

Campaigns for existing tokens

Tokens launched anywhere else (pump.fun, Raydium, Meteora…) can use XClip too. Instead of a fee split, the pool is funded by deposits:

  1. Open Launch → Existing token and paste the token's address. You don't need to be its dev.
  2. Pick what counts as a shill and how it pays (rounds or a flat rate), exactly like a launched coin.
  3. Deposit at least $10 in SOL or USDC from your wallet into the campaign's own pool wallet. A USDC deposit also sends 0.005 SOL once so the pool can pay its network fees. The campaign opens as soon as the deposit confirms; posts count from then on.
  4. Anyone can top up any pool (campaign or launched coin) from its page, in SOL or USDC. Deposits are read from the chain, never trusted from the browser.
  5. Pools pay USDC first (it's already dollars), then SOL at the live price. The creator can end a campaign at any time: the current round pays out straight away, then everything left goes back to the creator's wallet.

Payouts through X Money

Credits add up across every coin and round. Once an account has earned $5 or more, it's queued as one payout and sent in dollars to that X handle with Money. You accept it in the X app, with no crypto wallet involved. Payments nobody claims expire under X Money's own policy.

All of it is public: Payments lists every send and every settled round with its on-chain transfer, and each profile page shows its earnings.

Submitting posts

If the search missed your post, paste its link on the coin's page. If it contains the coin's terms it counts straight away. If it doesn't (for example, the ticker is only in an image), the dev approves or declines it. Posts older than 7 days can't be submitted, and the money always goes to the post's author, whoever submits it.

For devs

  • Your coin's Manage page lets you change terms, pause rewards, review submitted posts, exclude accounts and trigger a scan.
  • Changes apply when the current round settles; a new round length applies from the next round.
  • Pausing stops tracking; fees keep filling the treasury and pay out when you resume.
  • The rest of your creator fees go to your wallet by pump.fun directly; XClip never holds them.

Anti-bot & fairness

Rewards only matter if bots can't farm them. Every account posting about a coin gets a risk score from its last 24 hours of posts and its X account, recomputed every time the leaderboard updates:

500+ posts about the coin in 24h0.75
300+ posts in 24h0.50
100+ posts in 24h0.30
Account under 14 days old0.30
5+ posts under 20 seconds apart0.25
3+ near-identical posts0.25
Bought engagement: 200+ likes, no replies or reposts0.20
10+ posts and over 40 in an hour0.20
Under 15 followers0.15
Account under 60 days old0.10
  • Risk 0.3 is warning 1/3: points (or flat-rate earnings) cut by 25%. Risk 0.5 is 2/3: cut by 50%. Risk 0.75 is DQ: no pay.
  • Warnings show on the leaderboard and clear on their own once the behaviour stops.
  • An established account (60+ days old, 15+ followers) can't be warned on cadence or wording alone. Volume always counts.
  • Only the best 20 posts per account per hour earn. Nobody posting by hand hits that; scripts do.

Other rules

  • The coin's own X account doesn't earn from its coin.
  • Devs can set a minimum follower count and exclude accounts (bots, alts, farms).
  • Per-account caps stop one account from taking a whole round.
  • Deleted posts stop earning at the next refresh.

Opting out

Don't want payments? Opt out: post a one-time code from your account and we'll stop counting your posts. Unpaid earnings stay unpaid.
